Join us on Monday 7th June for an open discussion for members about what you want from your Chamber and get to meet other member businesses from Shepton Mallet and the surrounding area on our first, and hopefully last, virtual meeting via Teams.
As you know face to face meetings have been on hold due to the pandemic and ongoing restrictions, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. The Chamber hopes to be able to organise some face-to-face meetings, workshops, and networking events a little later in the year, but we want to know what you need?
- Is it? …
Social Media training?
Data Protection training?
- Would you like to attend Breakfast meetings or maybe a networking drinks & nibbles evening?
- If we had guest speakers, what topics would you like information on at a networking meeting?
Come along and tell us your ideas, you don’t have to have lots, one or two will be sufficient as everyone will have different needs and hopefully, we will have a long list to work with from everyone who attends.
Book you free spot here - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/shepton-mallet-chamber-what-do-you-want-tickets-157070850141
and a link to the Teams meeting will be sent to you via email.
We look forward to seeing lots of our new members and our long-standing members too.
Since we were unable to hold our annual 'Christmas Tree Switch On' event this year due to social distancing concerns, etc we decided that we would hold a 'Best Dressed Christmas Window Competition' and are inviting residents and businesses to participate from 5th December.
Entry is FREE, but you must register by sending a message on our Facebook page (@sheptonchamber) or email: email@example.com.
Once we have a list of windows, we will publish where they can be seen (house numbers and streets only - no names) so everyone can enjoy your efforts.
Your decorations will be photographed from 7th December and our judges will determine the best Christmas window display.
The winners will be announced on the 19th December.
- Residential - £30 gift voucher to spend in any Shepton Mallet Business
- Businesses - A bottle of bubbly or equivalent
Closing date for entries: Wednesday 16th December
